Mums, with its Swedish influence, has become one of Karaköy's indispensable spots with its diverse food options from its open kitchen, daily desserts, sandwiches and salads made with homemade sourdough bread, and its special blend of coffees. Mums means "delicious" in Swedish. Coincidentally, it's located on Mumhane Street, making it Mums of Mumhane Street as well. But for many, it refers to mothers, as the English word "mom's" suggests.

Wonderful!

The breakfast we had there was very filling, the portions were very large, and the food tasted good. The tea and coffee were nice, and the service was fast. We sat in the French-style seating area. It had a lovely atmosphere. The cheesecakes were delicious. I recommend the baklava-style cheesecake. Overall, it's a nice and clean place, although the prices are a bit high.

I love it

The perfect place to experience Swedish cuisine without having to travel all the way to Sweden... Kanelbulle, räksmörgås is great. We satisfied our craving for Swedish flavors with "Mums". Everything was carefully selected. The coffee portions are just too small. They should be served in larger cups because "fika" is a very important part of Swedish culture, and in fact, many traditional cafes in Sweden offer a "påtår" system where you get the second one free. Therefore, even if you don't have the påtår app, the coffee cups should be large for a good "fika". Just a suggestion 😉

It's worth a try!

On recommendation, we tried the medovik and the raspberry and hazelnut cake. They were fresh and very delicious, I especially loved the medovik! It's a light dessert with honey and biscuits. I would definitely come back to eat there. It's in a nice location in the French Passage, and the staff were very attentive and friendly.
